Onion chutney


  • Onion (4)
  • Ginger (2 inch)
  • Garlic (2 )
  • Red chillies (5)
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard seeds
  • Oil
  • Curry leaves


  1. Cut onion, ginger, garlic, red chillies and salt and blend it.
  2. Heat oil, add mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds splutter, add curry leaves.
  3. Add the blend into the pan and heat it for 10 min so that the onion is cooked.
  4. Serve in a bowl and add some coconut oil.

Onion chutney is ready to be served with idli and dosa
